It's Done!
Just finished our final approval of the master for the new album, Rooftop Shake. Sending it out to Strange Famous in the AM and then it's a wrap officially. It might not be too much to look at, but below is the video of how it all went down in the Metermaids camp...oh, and a shout out to DC (you can see Sean try on the gear they sent us for using our song in their video somewhere in the beginning).

Weekend Wednesdays
First off, we have a show in lovely Bridgeport, CT this Saturday night. Come out if you're in the area.
We have a lot of HUGE announcements coming soon, but in order to make it through the week, we thought we'd give you some inspiration. You'd be surprised how hard it is to find good clips of Weekend at Bernie's. For real though, one of these days Metermaids will make a music video based on this movie...or maybe based on the life and times of Andrew McCarthy. Either way. Happy Wednesday.
And this is bootleg, but son, this scene almost justified the sequel.

Basement show
After rocking the Strange Famous basement show a couple weeks ago, we found out what a fun and intimate family affair these shows are. Thank you to everyone who showed up and to everyone who played that night. Sage decided to throw one more of these jams in 2011, so if you're in the Providence/Pawtucket area, you should definitely check it out.

II/X/MMXI
First off, thanks to everyone who came out to Doin' Alright 14 last week. And to all the other great acts that rocked it with us. We are lucky to know some amazing and talented people. Here's a picture our boy Broke MC took on some hipstamatic steelo.
Now, for the next installment of Bad News Bears take 2011, we are excited to fill you in on some details of the Feb 10 show at the Studio at Webster Hall. It's obviously going to be with our SFR homie B. Dolan, but that's not even the half. He explains it all in this video.
Links to Buy Tickets are at BDolan.net! These shows are expected to sell out so buy early! "In celebration of the New Year and symbolic burial of 2010, Providence's master showman and Strange Famous Records emcee B. DOLAN has put together a Valentine's Extravaganza years in the making.

Shows a comin'
It's a new year and a brand new day. As promised, we plan to hit the ground running in twenty eleven. We've been busy in the studio and in the blizzardy depths of the brooklyn winter devising an elaborate plan to reemerge with a heavy load of new music, shows, and merchandise for the unsuspecting public. The ball is just now starting to roll and from here it's gonna barrel down on this year like Indiana Jones. So let's begin...First with a couple of shows coming up:
If you haven't been to a Doin' Alright show yet, it's time to check one out. Our homies Chronikill, Deathrow Tull, Coole High and others will be there with us to show the Bowery a good time. These shows always make for a great night. Come hang out with us. You can buy your tickets here in advance.
On February 10th, our friend and legendary spoken word & rap mammoth, B Dolan will be kicking off his Church of Love and Ruin tour at the Studio at Webster Hall with Metermaids. This will be menacing. Don't miss out. Get your tickets early: WebsterHall.com
We'll be seeing a lot of each other this year.
Holler at your bad news bears.
